The CodeWorks Discount Program
CodeWorks is all about bringing the experience of one of MTA's conferences to as wide an audience as possible. Therefore, it is only fair that our discount program be as far-reaching as we can make it.
How to Qualify
You can qualify for one of the current "discounted" rates if you belong to one of these groups:
- Students, members of secondary and post-secondary staff (including non-academic staff).
- Employees of non-profit organizations
- Local, state and federal government employees
- Members of development user groups (e.g.: PHP/Linux/Flex/MySQL/Python/etc.)
- Alumni of past php|architect/Python Magazine conferences
Confirming Your Status
In most cases, we can qualify you for a discounted rate without the need for any additional documentation using your e-mail address. If we can confirm that the domain name of your address belongs to an organization that falls into one of the groups above—for example, a university or a non-profit organization, then you'll be set.
If you're signing up as an alumnus, make sure that you use the user account from which you purchased at least one pass to a php|architect or Python Magazine conference for automatic qualification.
The Easiest Way to Get a Discount…
If you don't easily fit into one of the categories above, the easiest and quickest way to qualify for our discounted rates is to join a user group in your area—after all, our conferences are all about community and UGs are where communities meet and grow!
